Plain White T’s have just released the first single off their forthcoming album Big Bad World. The track, “Natural Disaster” can be previewed on the band’s MySpace page.

Plain White T’s have also just announced they will take part in the first ever Rockband Live Tour with Panic At The Disco, Dashboard Confessional and The Cab. Information and tour dates can be found here. Big Bad World hits stores September 23rd.

Plain White T’s new video for “Our Time Now” can be seen at the links below. The clip was directed by Shane Drake (Fall Out Boy, Paramore) and comes off their hit album Every Second Counts.

The Plain White T’s along with 30 other bands across the country will be part of “Rock for Darfur” in an effort to aid the United Nation’s effort in what’s said to be “the world’s greatest humanitarian crisis.” A portion of ticket sales from the Plain White T’s November 10th show in Bridgeport, CT will go directly to the cause. On November 6, 2007 Fearless Records will be re-releasing STOP, the Plain White T’s original full-length album. The reissue is fully remastered and includes three never-heard tracks from the band’s previous studio sessions and new artwork. Vocalist Tom Higgenson describes the album as more of a diary of his past life and believes some of the best song he has ever written were on STOP.

The Plain White T’s have just been nominated for “Breakout Artist” at the upcoming 35th annual American Music Awards. The AMA’s has changed its voting process to allow the public to vote online for their favorite acts. Fans can help the T’s take home the award by voting here through November 1st. Winners will be announced at the awards on November 18th in Los Angeles.

The supporting acts for Fall Out Boy’s “The Young Wild Things Tour” this fall. Plain White T’s, Gym Class Heroes and Cute Is What We Aim For will join FOB. The tour will run from October 2nd through December 2nd. Dates coming soon.
