Angels & Airwaves Announce New Member; iTunes Special

Angels & AirwavesAngels & Airwaves have announced that Ilan Rubin has joined the band as their new drummer/keyboardist. Rubin was previously drumming for Nine Inch Nails and doing his own solo project, The New Regime.

Angels & Airwaves new album, LOVE Part Two, will be exclusively available on iTunes for one week beginning November 1st. The bands new single “Surrender” will be available starting on October 31st when it will be world premiered on KROQ/LA’s “Kevin & Bean” show. LOVE Part One, Part Two and LOVE (the movie) will be available at retail outlets on November 8th through Rocket Science/RED, while AVAshop.com will unveil three special packages.

Angels & Airwaves To Release Love Parts 1 & 2 Double Album

Angels And AirwavesAngels & Airwaves will release their new album, Love Part Two, on November 8th. The band will also release on that day a double album pack featuring, Love Part One and Two, and also a deluxe double album featuring the full length feature film Love.

A trailer for the album can be seen below. The bands first single “Anxiety” is available on iTunes now along with a video for the single.

Angels & Airwaves Release New Single on iTunes

The song comes from the bands new album, Love Part 2, which is due out on November 11th (11-11-11).

Angels & Airwaves also released a video for “Anxiety a while back that you can also check out.

Angels & Airwaves Delay New Album and Movie

Angels & Airwaves have delayed the release of their upcoming album, LOVE II, and movie, LOVE, until this fall. The releases were originally set for release on Valentines Day. Tom Delonge talked about the change during an interview at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 6th. A video of Delonge talking about the change and the movie can be seen below. Angels & Airwaves To Release Movie And Album On Valanties Day

Tom Delonge has announced that Angels & Airwaves‘ movie, LOVE, will be released on Valentines Day 2011. Along with the movie the band will be releasing a new album on Valentines Day. Special showings of the movie will be shown in California and Arizona and the band will be present with limited edition art and merchandise from the movie.
