A Trailer for Angels & Airwaves upcoming movie “LOVE” can be seen below. “LOVE” is inspired by the bands upcoming album of the same name, due out February 14, 2010.

Angels and Airwaves will be giving away a free CD and film entitled Love by the end of the year.

DeLonge tells Billboard.com that “Love” — which will be released for free thanks to corporate underwriting — is “the biggest release of my life, the pinnacle of my creativity” and likens it to Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” in the scope of its ambition. “It’s super conceptual and highbrow in many ways, very artistic, very Stanley Kubrick,” he says. “But it’s not a rock opera. It’s a very modern version of what could happen when you blend the film industry and the music industry together in a very, very arty, kind of cool way with professionals involved all along the path.”

Mark Hoppus has wrote a new blog post talking about the last couple of months. Hoppus talks about the recent plane crash as well as the death of producer Jerry Finn. Hoppus also goes on to talk about Tom Delong (Angels & Airwaves, Blink 182), Travis Barker and himself talking again. 

Don’t expect a Blink 182 reunion anytime soon or at all as the former band mates are just catching up with each other after four years of not talking.

Angels & Airwaves broadcast peace and love from Nashville

Mathematically, I had to do it. Angels & Airwaves, free show (the annual Journey’s Backyard BBQ), three-hour drive to Nashville, so-so shopping mall – it made too much sense to ignore. So, after a quick Waffle House breakfast (honestly, the atmosphere alone can fill your stomach) perfectly complimented with four cups of coffee, I turned my girlfriend’s Camry gently in the direction of Nashville…well, Franklin, Tennessee. Thankfully, I kept a mildly detailed mental journal of the day ahead and will do my absolute best to transcribe it here.  Read more...
