Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, Metro Station, and Katy Perry will be performing at this years mtvU Video Music Awards as well as some Six Flags Theme Parks.

Six Flags, the world’s largest regional theme park company, and mtvU, MTV’s 24-hour college network, are joining forces this summer to offer red hot college favorites Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, Metro Station, and Katy Perry for the mtvU Video Music Awards Tour at Six Flags.  The tour will take place at Six Flags theme parks across the nation, and will lead up to the blowout “2008 MTV Video Music Awards” show at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 7th.

All Time Low will be doing a headlining tour from July 11-July 21 before they join up with the Vans Warped Tour. All Time Low is reuniting with director Travis Kopach (Panic At The Disco, Meg & Dia, Circa Survive) in NYC this week to shoot a new music video for their next single “Poppin’ Champagne”. Hit The Lights are set to release their new album, Skip School, Start Fights, on July 8th. The band will be on the road all summer, see below for confirmed dates with Set Your Goals, All Time Low, I Am The Avalanche and more.

Skip School, Start Fights was produced by Rob Freeman (Hidden In Plain View) at Pilot Studios in New Jersey and mixed by Zach Odom and Kenneth Mount (Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Cartel).

All Time Low has just announced an upcoming UK co-headlining tour with Cobra Starship. In addition, the band has released their run on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour. All Time Low is currently co-headlining the Rockstar/Alternative Press tour alongside The Rocket Summer, with Sonny, The Matches and Forever The Sickest Kids.

Forever The Sickest Kids & All Time Low have teamed with Imeem.com & Skelanimals to host month long prank war.  Skelanimals is sponsoring a prank war between Forever The Sickest Kids (Motown) and All Time Low (Hopeless) on Imeem.com, a social networking site geared towards music streaming content.  Forever The Sickest Kids and All Time will be challenged weekly to prank each other while they are on the Alt Press tour with other acts The Rocket Summer, The Matches and Sonny.  Imeem.com will be hosting the videos for users to watch and rank which pranks are the better of the two each week.
