Bryce from The Rocket Summer has announced a U.S. headlining tour starting this Septermber. Joining the band will be Phantom Planet, The Secret Handshake and The Morning Light. Check out a video below of the announcment.

On February 4th The Morning Light will begin recording their new album with producer Matt Goldman (Underoath, Copeland, Cartel). The record will be released later this year courtesy of Fearless Records.

Fearless Records has signed The Morning Light.

The Morning Light formed early in 2007 when Harrison Wargo and Bobby Garver began jamming in a local recording studio. Word quickly spread about these guys and shortly they had a full band. The band had not even released an album when they started impressing local promotes and landing shows with All Time Low and Cute Is What We Aim For.

Holiday Parade posted a clip of a brand new song titled “Make It Count” on their MySpace page. The track was produced by Zack & Kenneth (Cartel, The Fold, Mayday Parade). The band is wrapping up their tour with Asteria and The Morning Light, and then hitting the road with Cartel for about two weeks. Check out a brief statement from the band below.

Lately I have been addicted to A Thorn For Every Heart’s new album, It’s Hard To Move You. Due out in July this will be one of the years best sing along albums.

This past week I’ve really enjoyed Straylight Run’s new album, The Needles the Space.

The Morning Light has impressed me as well with their debut effort, The Sounds of Love.
