Thursday Announce Final Tour; Announce Indefinite Hiatus

Thursday will embark on their final North American tour starting tonight in New York city. The band have announced that they will go on indefinite hiatus after this tour.

The band will be touring in support of their sixth studio album, the critically heralded Epitaph release, No Devolución. Thursday have released four fan-coveted studio albums, including 2009’s Common Existence, in the ten years since the release of Full Collapse – Thursday’s sophomore album that pulled them from the underground basement and VFW shows they were used to and propelled the band to the forefront of mainstream rock with its unique melding of emotionally charged post-punk and aggressive post-hardcore.

Thursday will be joined on the first leg of the tour by Southern metalcore outfit Maylene & The Sons of Disaster and on the second leg with Philadelphia art rockers MewithoutYou and the New Jersey trio Screaming Females. The band will play their last shows together in Australia at the Soundwave Festival.

Fake FiguresUniting from many different bands (Atreyu, Hotwire, Scars of Tomorrow, Nightfall), Fake Figures has come, and approaches at full tilt with a sonically diverse platter for those to choose from. Having the good fortune of each member being associated with their individual acts has led to an immense arsenal of song writing capabilities and comfort during live performances.

Now on the brink of releasing their first EP, “Hail The Sycophants”, Fake Figures are preparing to give a complete spectrum of their inception and where they are now by also furnishing a full-length documentary chronicling the bands beginning stages (demoing, rehearsals, photo shoot, new member addition, first show, etc.), filmed by bass player Bob Bradley and singer Rus Martin; who also filmed and edited the bands first video for the track ‘Something Deadly’.
