I Am The Avalanche Release New Song; New Album Due In October

August 24, 2011 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

I Am The Avalanche

I Am The AvalancheI Am the Avalanche have announced their long awaited return with one of the most anticipated albums in years, Avalanche United, due out October 11. The band has premiered the album’s first track, “Holy Fuck,” over on RockSound.tv. “[itunes link=”http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/holy-f-k/id457342107?uo=4″ title=”I Am The Avalanche – Holy Fuck” text=”Holy Fuck”]” is also available for download on iTunes now.

“This band has a nervous energy, an urgency that each of us feel every second of our lives, and this album captures that,” says vocalist Vinnie Caruana. “We’re brothers, we’re family. The music we make together binds us together and gets us through all the hard times, together. I feel like all five of us will be able walk with less weight on our shoulders now that we’ve finished this album after years of writing and recording. And now it’s time to perform these songs everywhere, alongside some of my best friends.”

Produced by the band, and executive produced and engineered by their prolific drummer Brett “The Ratt” Romnes and mixed by Machine (Fall Out Boy, Every Time I Die, Four Year Strong), Avalanche United is addictively melodic and blisteringly raw to its very core.

Hit The Lights Announce New Album; Tour Dates

May 14, 2008 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Hit The Lights are set to release their new album, Skip School, Start Fights, on July 8th. The band will be on the road all summer, see below for confirmed dates with Set Your Goals, All Time Low, I Am The Avalanche and more.

Skip School, Start Fights was produced by Rob Freeman (Hidden In Plain View) at Pilot Studios in New Jersey and mixed by Zach Odom and Kenneth Mount (Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Cartel).

Hit The Lights went through a lineup shuffle before they recorded Skip School, Start Fights. When former lead singer Colin Ross left the band last summer to pursue the quiet life, HTL decided it was time to unleash their secret weapon…it was time for their guitar player, Nick Thompson, to step into the limelight as lead singer. So how do they sound now that Nick’s leading the charge? Better than ever. Obviously. Hit The Lights are now a four piece consisting of Nick Thompson (Vocals), Omar Zehery (Guitar), Nate Van Dame (Drums) and Dave Bermusk (Bass).
