Underoath Set Release Date For New Album

Underoath has set October 26th November 9th as the release date for their upcoming album, Disambiguation, due out on Tooth & Nail Records. This will be the first album with their new drummer Daniel Davison formally of Norma Jean. Davison replaces former drummer and one of the founding members of the band, Aaron Gillespie. More details on the album will be announced soon.

Anberlin‘s new album, Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place, is set for release on September 7th and there are several pre-orders available. The pre-orders are the following: iTunes, Newbury Comics, Anberlin Web Store, Smartpunk, Interpunk, Amazon.

Max Bemis Recording Tour Exclusive Record

Max Bemis has announced on his Twitter that he will be recording a 10 song tour exclusive record with songs by him. The record, Max Bemis and the Painful Splits, will be lofi fun postpunk and will be for sale on Say Anything’s upcoming tour with Motion City Soundtrack.

The Summer Set Announce Headlining Tour

The Summer Set have announced their first headlining tour set to take place this fall.  “The Travelin’ Show” fall tour will kick off at Emo’s in Austin, TX on October 19th and hit venues nationwide, concluding the tour with two dates in their home state of Arizona on November 26th and 27th.  Stereo Skyline, Mod Sun, and Austin Gibbs will join The Summer Set for “The Travelin’ Show,” with School Boy Humor and The Downtown Fiction on select dates. Four Year Strong‘s hit “Find My Way Back” is available for free download on the Six-String game for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Six-String is a fun, innovative music game that offers a realistic guitar experience that lets fans play lead guitar on their favorite songs. Players pluck, strum and change chords taking guitar games to a whole new level.  “Find My Way Back” can be downloaded to play for free for a very limited time in the game’s extensive music store.

After this week, players have until Sept 10 to enter in the Four Year Strong giveaway. Whoever has the highest score on “Find My Way Back” by Sept 10 will win a Four Year Strong skate deck, special edition CD of the Four Year Strong album “Enemy of the World,” vinyl version of “Enemy of the World,” and a limited edition Four Year Strong 7″ vinyl EP.

Fans can download the FREE version of Six-String in the app store.
