The Panic Division On Hiatus

February 21, 2008 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

The Panic Division have announced that they are going on hiatus. Check out the message from the band below.

Hey everyone. Colton here from The Panic D.

I want to thank all of you that have sent emails and videos, interested in trying out for our guitarist position. There have been a RETARDED amount. I think I just spent 2 hours going through emails and videos. Im happy so many of you are interested, but holy hell you guys are killing my fingers!

Heres the deal. The Panic Division is on hiatus for a while, while I finish my electronic album. Diego and Tavis are a part of the project as well. Even though Panic D is taking a break, we are still accepting video auditions, so feel free to keep them coming. DO NOT JUST SEND AN EMAIL WITH YOUR GEAR LIST. We dont care if you own the best gear, or if you have a pet unicorn made of out pure gold that can sing better than Sinatra. We need to see you playing the songs live over the recording.

To our fans, Im sorry we have been gone for a while. Trust me, we miss touring so much, and I feel like a war vet. New music is on the way. Different, but new. We appreciate all of you guys, and your patience.

Panic Division Side Project

January 3, 2008 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Colton Holliday of The Panic Division has announced a side project by the name Slender Dorris. You can get more information about the project below.

Hey everybody, Colton here from the Panic Division. This has been under wraps for the last year or so, but I’m finally announcing that I have a side project called Slender Dorris. I have just recently finished the album, and begin tracking vocals tomorrow. To give you guys an idea of what it sounds like, it is frenchy electro 80s ambient pop dance with vocals. Diego Chavez is involved in this project as well. The release of Slender Dorris will be quite different than others.

I plan to release the albums only digitally and through ITunes. I also plan to release 2-3 records a year, so everyone gets more music and everyones happy. Since I’m one of the only geezers left that still believes in owning a pressed copy of an album, and enjoying the art work and theme of the album, I will have pressed albums for sale only at live shows. I also plan on having a free download of the art work at the myspace page, for those that purchased the album through iTunes, and want a little more art. I also plan on making the downloaded artwork interactive.

So theres the news. I begin tracking vocals tomorrow, and should have music up for everybody very soon. Thanks to all of you for your constant support over these last few years, and I cant wait for you guys to hear the new music!

Happy New Year,

Colton Holliday

Daniel Leaves The Panic Division

October 10, 2007 By Bryce Jacobson 1 Comment

A recent update from The Panic Division reveals that guitarist Daniel Stanush has decided to leave the band. Read the message from the band below.

Our guitarist Daniel Stanush, has decided to leave the band. There were no fights or bad blood, but he has chose to follow a different path. This happend on our last tour with Strata and Kaddisfly, which is why we had to drop the end of the run with them. Daniel was a very important part of our band, so naturally this is not an easy time for us.

We are currently in the process of looking for a new guitarist, and look forward to touring again soon. Please be patient with us, as this process may take a little while.
