This Day & Age On Hiatus

In a recent MySpace blog post, Jeff from This Day & Age announced that the band will be going on an indefinite hiatus. You can read the post below.

well, first of all this isn’t a joke; i know we write many outlandish messages, but this is a serious one…

during the past few months as i have thought about my future, it has become more and more apparent to me that my passion, my desire to create music, to be in a band has faded… i found myself not enjoying being on tour, not having written a word since we left the studio 6 months ago (these are odd things to me).

Rory Get New Website

Rory has unleashed a new website to compliment their new full-length album, We’re Up To No Good, We’re Up To No Good, out today. The band will also soon be embarking on the “I Am 111 Tour with labelmates This Day & Age, Rookie Of The Year, and Inkwell.

Check out the new fetured bands on the site including Boys Like Girls, This Day & Age, and Hundred Year Storm. We will be streaming Daggermouth’s new album Stallone all week so be sure to take a listen and pick it up if you like what you hear. Also if you haven’t checked out the new photos section head there now and check out a bunch of new and old pictures that have been added.

This Day & Age Post New Songs

This Day & Age have posted a couple of new song off their upcoming album The Bell and the Hammer. Check out “The Bell and The Hammer” on their PureVolume page and check out “Winter Winter Spring” on their MySpace page.

Amber Pacific have announced that Over It will be replacing October Fall on their current tour. You can read what the band says below.

The band’s for the tour will now be:

Amber Pacific
The Audition
This Day & Age
Sherwood
OVER IT* (replacing October Fall)
Just Surrender
All Time Low

The reason behind replacing October Fall on the tour is that they aren’t going to be available anymore to go on our tour. We did not kick them off, and wish them all the best. I am sure their label or the band themselves will be making a press release about their other plans in a short time from now.
