Sum 41 Release Viral Video

Sum 41 has released a viral video for the title track of their new album Screaming Bloody Murder releasing March 29th. An official video for the track will premiere in the coming weeks. The video follows the band around with footage from their massive live performances to goofing around backstage and their bus.

Sum 41 Stream New Song

A new track called “Scmfuk” from Sum 41‘s forthcoming release is streaming on the bands MySpace page. The song will appear on the band’s sixth studio album, Screaming Bloody Murder, which is due out early next year. Sum 41 was recently forced to cancel a number of dates on the Vans Warped Tour due to a random attack on frontman Deryck Whibley.

In the coming months, Sum 41 will head overseas for a number of dates and will also be headlining the Eastpak tour this fall. Visit Sum41.com for more information.

Sum 41 To Release Full Length Album

Sum 41 will be releasing a full length album instead of an EP that they originally had planned. A message about the change can be read below.

WE’RE MAKING AN ALBUM.
there was talk about doing an ep and then that turned into other things. next thing you know we’re sitting here with a whole bunch of songs that we really like. so instead of doing anything else we’ve just decided to go and make a full album. as to when it will come out, i don’t know. i would say it’s safe to say it will be out this year. unless for some reason we need to keep going and it pushes it back further. but right now everything is on track and feels good. things are going to start moving fast here so keep checking back for updates as much as possible.

Sum 41 Cancel Upcoming Tour Dates

Due to Deryck’s back injury, Sum 41 have been forced to cancel the rest of their tour dates this year. You can read a message from the band below.

As many of you have already heard, Deryck has suffered a herniated disk in his back and we were forced to cancel all shows scheduled for this year.

We’re sorry that this has happened and we hope our fans understand that there was nothing we could have done to prevent this.

We wish Deryck and quick and full recovery and can’t wait to reschedule all these shows in the new year and finally get back out on the road.
