October 17, 2007 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

For the second straight year, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence will partner with Virgin Records recording artist The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus during the month of October, to help support the NCADV’s efforts to fight Domestic Violence and its effects on America’s younger generation.

In continuing with their efforts against domestic violence, starting October 16 and running through November 25, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will be running a contest in conjunction with their latest single “Your Guardian Angel”. Entrants can submit videos of their personal “guardian angels” via the band’s contest site and YouTube site with the winning entrant receiving a $1000 prize for themselves and a $1000 donation to be made to The Red Jumpsuit Guardian Angel Foundation in the “guardian angel’s” name.

The Sound Of Animals Fighting Join Epitaph

October 16, 2007 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

The Sound Of Animals Fighting will be releasing their third album on Epitaph. You can read a full message from the band below.

Friends and Fans,

After one album, a reissue of our first EP, and a live DVD (three very special releases to us), we bring you the latest newsflash: our third album will be released on the pioneering and long-established Epitaph Records. We were extremely blessed to have had the opportunities provided for us by Equal Vision Records for the aforementioned releases, and could not have been happier there. The label and staff remain friends, and we will continue to work closely with them to make sure our merchandise is available to all of you. This third record coming out on Epitaph simply gives us a chance to reach new channels and new faces, which, ultimately, will work in everyone’s favor, as you and we continue to grow, while simultaneously maintaining the independent ethics so important to us. Thank you for your ongoing support, and, as always, believe nothing you hear unless it comes straight from us. We are excited for the ongoing future of this incredibly cathartic project.

Cheers,
The Nightingale
