Sing It Loud To Release EP

Sing It Loud, who recently signed with Epitaph Records, will be releasing their new EP on April 1st. The new release will only be available for digital download and at the band’s upcoming shows.

Produced by Motion City Soundtrack’s Josh Cain and mixed by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, the Starting Line), the new EP will feature re-recorded versions of the insanely infectious tracks “No One Can Touch Us” (featuring Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low), “Bite Your Lip” and “Come Around” as well as two brand new songs “I’ve Got A Feeling” and “Best Beating Heart.” Check out the album art and track listing below.

Fall Out Boy to Perform In Antarctica

Fall Out Boy will be performing in Antarctica to finish up their World Tour which the band hopes to get into the Guinness Book of Word Records for performing on all seven continents in less than nine months. You can read more below.

Fall Out Boy will be attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the first band to play all seven continents in a time frame under nine months. The band kicked off the record in Johannesburg, South Africa late last summer, then toured through Europe, Asia, Australia and North America last fall. The South American show will take place in Santiago Chile on March 23, followed up by King George Island in Antarctica on March 25, where they hope to receive the Guinness World Record. In addition to setting a world record, the band will be working closely with Greenpeace for the concert in Antarctica to raise awareness about global warming.

Equal Vision Signs Cinematic Sunrise

Equal Vision Records has signed Cinematic Sunrise, the pop-rock sensation side project of Craig Owens and Bradley Bell vocalist and keyboardist (respectively) of Chiodos.

Cinematic Sunrise is Craig Owens, vocals; Bradley Bell, keyboards; Bryan Beeler, guitar; Marcus Vankirk, bass; and Dave Shapiro, drums  recorded the 6-track set themselves with Beeler in the role of producer/engineer. The debut EP (title TBA) is set for a May 13, 2008 release. Check out the album art and tour dates below.
