Blink 182 Talking Again; No Reunion In Sight

Mark Hoppus has wrote a new blog post talking about the last couple of months. Hoppus talks about the recent plane crash as well as the death of producer Jerry Finn. Hoppus also goes on to talk about Tom Delong (Angels & Airwaves, Blink 182), Travis Barker and himself talking again.

Don’t expect a Blink 182 reunion anytime soon or at all as the former band mates are just catching up with each other after four years of not talking.

New Found Glory Set Release Date

Equal Vision Signs This Time Next Year

Equal Vision Records is proud to welcome THIS TIME NEXT YEAR to its roster. The band - vocalist Pete Dowdalls, guitarist/vocalist Brad Wiseman, guitarist Denis Cohen, bassist Tony Allio, and drummer Aaron Seminoff - is set to record their debut full length with producer Brian McTernan (Circa Survive, Senses Fail, Thrice) at the top of 2009.

Listing Saves The Day, New Found Glory, and The Movielife as major influences, THIS TIME NEXT YEAR has released two EPs - A Place For You in 2007, The Longest Way Home in 2008 - on indie DIY labels Escapist Records and Run For Cover Records (respectively). With several full US tours under their belt, the five-piece has shared the stage with many of the scene’s current pop-punk heavyweights including Cartel, Set Your Goals, and Four Year Strong.

Every month in 2009 Mae will be bringing you a new song that is part of a bigger story.

These songs are like the hours that make up the day. These songs are like the months that make up the year. These songs are like years that make up a life. They are about the tiny choices we make that lead to large results. Sometimes these results are wonderful; sometimes they are terrible. We learn from both.

Three times during 2009 Mae will put these songs together and give you an EP.
