Bloc Party Drummer Suffers Lung Collapse

Bloc Party is forced to cancel a number of shows on their tour after Matt Tong’s lung collapsed. According to a statement on the band’s site, “Doctors at the hospital in Atlanta say Matt is in a comfortable condition and not in any danger, he will however be staying in the hospital for at least the next three days for observation and it’s not clear at this stage when Matt will be fit to resume performing.” No word yet on when they expect to get back out on the road.
