The Great Valley Ready Debut Album

January 15, 2011 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

The Great Valley are set to release their highly anticipated LP entitled “Ruthless” on February 22, 2011. Louis and Nick have been putting finishing touches on “Ruthless” with producer Cody Prang @ North American Recordings, the album will be mixed by Rob Freeman @ Pilot Studios.

“Ruthless”, consists of 8 brand new original songs, each packed with energy driven guitars, punchy, hard hitting drums, and melodic vocals with honest lyrics that are sure to hit a nerve. The album is being recorded in the band’s basement, in their home studio.  Louis states, “We wanted to record it in the comfort of our own home, give it a more raw feel as opposed to a huge production and studio. We feel that it’s easier for people to connect with music that way”.

The band’s first single “Dirty Work” is set to hit rock radio in February and is sure to propel the band to the next level as they plan to spend most of their time on the road in support of the new record.

January 10, 2011 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Kent Garrison announced his departure from Forever The Sickest Kids in a recent post on his website. Check out the announcement below. Forever The Sickest Kids are set to release their new self-titled album on March 1st.

Just want to let everyone know that my days of touring with FTSK have come and gone. I’m ready to pursue other opportunities in my life and am very thankful and blessed to have been a part of the band. Nothing anyone can do or say can change what we accomplished in such a short amount of time, and I’ll cherish those times forever, but for now, I’m excited for what God has stored up for me for the rest of these years on earth. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and to anyone who will continue to support me. I love you.
