Daphne Loves Derby will be shooting their new music video at the Jan 19th and 20th Chain Reaction shows in Anaheim, CA. Their headline acoustic tour gets underway today in the band’s hometown of Seattle, WA. Openers include Ronnie Day, Meg & Dia and House of Fools. Fans can expect to hear new tunes off of DLD’s upcoming Good Night, Witness Light, in stores March 27. The record was produced by Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco).

Daphne Loves Derby will head out on a 3 week acoustic tour and will be previewing tracks from their second Outlook Music full-length, Good Night, Witness Light, ahead of its release on March 27th. The PureVolume sponsored tour kicks off January 11th in Seattle and will feature Meg & Dia, House of Fools and Ronnie Day. Tickets are on-sale for all shows and many shows are close to capacity. The Militia Group is proud to welcome Ronnie Day into the fold. The 18 year-old singer-songwriter from Redwood City, CA has cultivated a massive online buzz; he has over 78,000 Myspace friends and over 1.6 million plays. Day’s full-length debut CD, The Album, is the follow up to his self-released EP which went on to sell over 10,000 copies out of Day’s bedroom.

The Album will be in stores on November 14. As Day explains, “The Album is a collection of musical moments, snapshots I took from a chapter of my life. From happy days in ‘Half Moon Bay’ to the road in ‘Written at a Reststop’, and through a breakup with ‘My Only Friend’, I share my journey with song.”

Meg & Dia and ActionReaction are hitting the road together in September with Ronnie Day. Confirmed dates are below, with more to come. ActionReaction is the new band from former Further Seems Forever front man, Jason Gleason (he replaced Chris Carraba), and former Element 101 members Bella and Salvatore. ActionReaction’s new CD, 3 Is The Magic Number is in stores now on Hope Division / Equal Vision.
