On the day before their new album release, Anberlin guitarist Nate Strayer will be moving on and focusing on his other musical interests. The band is stoked for him and wish him the best. Stepping into the second guitar position for the band is longtime good friend, Christian (from Acceptance).

After the break up of Acceptance I cried like a little baby… Why do you ask? Well Jason’s voice is basically irreplaceable and he will be missed. On the other hand, I didn’t really cry, it was just sad to see him go. Well some of the other band members have since moved to California and started a new music career with a band called Thunder Thunder. Check out their MySpace page for a couple of new songs and let us know what you think. Granted its no Acceptance but at least its something new to listen to.
Even though Acceptance will be no more, the band has posted a new demo titled “Not Affraid” on their MySpace page. The band is expected to post another new demo soon.
Acceptance as we know them will be no more. The band left this mesage on their MySpace page today:
Dearest Acceptance Family,
I am writing to you on this day to address a certain issue that has come to many of your attentions. We have been receiving countless e-mails and our operators have had their hands full fielding all of your phone calls inquiring about a dirty little rumor of Acceptance breaking up. To this, my friends, I must say that the Acceptance that you all have know and loved is no more, but this is not an obituary, on the contrary, this is a metamorphosis, its friggen evolution baby, much like a disgusting little caterpillar turning into not one, but two beautiful butterflies. Its science, let me explain…..
PunkVideoGuys just put up a live video of Acceptance performing “Permanent” on their Myspace page. It’ available in the downloads section. The video was filmed at Chain Reaction when the band opened for Yellowcard last December.
