Less Than Jake Announce 2011 US Tour

October 14, 2010 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Less Than Jake will kick of a US tour in January with support from Supervillains, Off With Their Heads with local acts added at a later date. Presale for these dates will begin on Thursday, October 14th at 9:00am PST at www.lessthanjaketix.com and tour dates can be found below. Presale packages include different tiers that offer difference bonus packages, some of which will include expanded re-releases of Losing Streak and Hello Rockview (details forthcoming).

Always plotting new ways to keep their music and live shows exciting, the band is looking forward to keeping things interesting. “We have a few tricks planned,” says drummer Vinnie Fiorello, “but we like keeping the element of surprise to the show instead of hype.” Less Than Jake’s latest release, “TV/EP” was released earlier this week, in trademark fashion, kept fans wondering what television theme songs and commercials they were covering. Instead of listing the tracks by name, they opted to keep that element of surprise intact by listing the songs as by channels instead of titles (i.e. Track One = “Channel 1”, etc.). He continues, “We started discussing ‘TV/EP’ as a fun project to do between records while we had time off from touring, cherrypicking out favorite theme songs and stumbling onto new favorites. We hadn’t done covers in a long time and decided to do this release, but adding twists like TV static and remote control clicks, never giving you a moment to not think about it.”

Supervillains
