The Track Record Parts With Label

September 4, 2006 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

The Track Record has parted with with Rushmore Records. You can read a statement from the band below.

As of September 1st, we are no longer affiliated with Drive-Thru / Rushmore Records. The split is due to disagreements regarding the direction of the band. While we maintain good terms with the label, there is no more progress to be made in the relationship.

That being said, we will be taking October to record and self produce our debut full length at Omega Studios (Third Eye Blind, Ben Folds Five, Fiona Apple, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, the Wallflowers) in Rockville, MD. The record has been written for months and we are beyond excited to finally get into the studio. Naturally, we are actively seeking a new label to call home and with whom to release our albums. We will be spending the final two months of the year on tour all over the country with Southcott, Tourmaline and Upper Class Trash. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us to this point and we look forward to seeing everyone on the road!
