New Takeover Records signing

November 16, 2006 By Jamie Pham Leave a Comment

Takeover Records just announced the signing of Oh No Not Stereo. Below is the press release.

Takeover Records recently signed the Los Angeles-based pop-rock group Oh No Not Stereo, a band that has been sought after by both indie and major labels alike. Though they independently released their self-titled EP earlier this year, Oh No Not Stereo will be re-releasing it with Takeover on February 6th. â┚¬Ã…”Oh No Not Stereo are owning Hollywood, and their live performance kills it,â┚¬? said label head Benjamin Harper (Amber Pacific, ex-Yellowcard). â┚¬Ã…”Thereâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s no doubt that this band will go places.â┚¬?

Formed in the summer of 2003, the energetic duo that is Oh No Not Stereo have taken a â┚¬Ã…”DIYâ┚¬? approach to their career, putting out a full-length in 2005 and releasing the aforementioned six-song EP with no label assistance. The band has also successfully completed three US and Canadian tours, which only proved to expand their ever-growing fan base.

Possessing a work ethic that just wonâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢t quit, Oh No Not Stereo are currently working on their sophomore LP, which is tentatively set to be released via Takeover in Summer 2007. The band also plans to continue touring, thereby delivering their mind-blowing set to avid music lovers across the country.
