Number One Gun Set To Release New Album

November 19, 2009 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Number One Gun has set January 26 as the release date for their new album, To The Secrets and Knowledge, due out on Tooth & Nail Records. Read below for more info and the album art.

In 2008, Number One Gun entered uncharted territory as the band transitioned into a solo project with leader Jeff Schneeweis.  Speculation rose if this would be an end or a fresh beginning.  After two years, Number One Gun is ready to continue with the forthcoming release “To The Secrets and Knowledge,” which gives the listener a creative, talent-filled album. “I did this record for me,” shares Schneeweis.  “I wanted to push myself musically and on the production side of things. Because I feel like I accomplished what I set out to do with this album, I’m open to seeing what the listeners will walk away with. I hope it inspires something within themselves.”

Motion City Soundtrack Post “Disappear” Video

November 19, 2009 By Bryce Jacobson 1 Comment

Motion City Soundtrack‘s new video for “Disappear” can be seen below. The song is off the bands upcoming album, My Dinosaur Life, due out Janruary 19th.

The idea behind the “Disappear” video came from a brainstorm between Josh and Justin. We all liked the idea so they wrote the treatment and then we shot the video a few weeks ago in the Saranac Lake region of New York with director Jesse Cain.

We wanted to do something a little different with this one.
