Sherwood To Release DVD; Record New Album

February 24, 2009 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Sherwood are currently working on a DVD and will also be entering the studio shortly to record their new album. Check out a message from the band below.

Hello!

I have spent the last week sitting at my computer putting more than 100+ dv tapes onto one hard drive. I am starting the longest project to date; the epic sherwood dvd. How do I even begin to explain how I feel right now? Watching 7 years of your life is a weird feeling. I just relived the whole experience that has been Sherwood and it’s been one amazing ride. I have never been more nostalgic in my entire life than I am right now. There is something about video over a great song that well… it just makes the heart smile.

It’s crazy to think that in a few days we will set out to start recording our new album. We are more than ready for this as it’s been a long time since we have been in the studio. Sorry it’s taken us so long, touring the world was something we never anticipated and it threw our schedule off a bit. I hope to release this dvd “trailer” soon but who knows. How do you sort through 1000gb of information? This will take me months…

For those of you that love what we do, thank you.

Nate
