Infectious pop rock is the best way to describe We Shot the Moon. As the superb combination of Jonathon Jones (Ex Waking Ashland) Joe Greenetz and Dan Koch from Sherwood; they have proven to create some of the catchiest, most compelling songs of the year. “The Waters Edge” alone is enough audio candy to hook anyone in. The Polar Bear & Cougar is nothing short of an awesome introduction for this young band. We should all look forward to more music from these guys in the New Year.

My favorite song is Julie! No, I’m kidding, but really this is a *fantastic* EP by Jonathon! It captures, in my opinion, what Waking Ashland should have sounded like after Composure released. Even when I heard about the band breakup I wasn’t too heartbroken cause I knew Jon would keep finding ways to make music. Sort of like Jeff from Number One Gun and Seth from Watashi Wa. Can’t wait for 2008’s full length!

This band is going straight to the top they are so amazing. The lyrics need some work though I mean, ‘the sign says, home but im feeling all alone’ is not a very clear idea
