   I think Avenged Sevenfold is an okay band, as in I like their instrumental sound a lot but their lead vocals don’t do anything for me. But I completely agree with what Manuel said about the album art…it’s not eye-catching or unique. It doesn’t really seem to be something special.

   Yeah I agree its probably not the best cover, however A7X doesn’t need flashy album covers. Their music sells it’s self. You’d think people would get tired of the “Deathbat”.

If you look at the Waking The Fallen outer sleeve, it’s the exact opposite as this album cover. And as for their artwork not being good, by the CD and look in side the cover booklet and behind the CD and see if you still think the art work is bad. Think before you say something fool.

    and besides all the fashion that follows a7x you have to take into consideration that they are the most original band to come out since 1999
    i mean everyone else is just a copycat version of another band.

    Second, its a great composition. Its not to crazy…it is designed to bring the focus straight there. Its intended for drawing in fans that know of them(deathbat logo) and also to spark interest in browsers. In fact, plenty of other huge musicians have done similar things when it comes to album artwork. Metallica(Black album), The Beatles(White album), Sigur Ros(Ágætis Byrjun,Svefn-G-Englar, (), and Von) etc. A lot of times musicians don’t want catchy or flashy album artwork because they want their music to speak for itself. Another example of basic album artwork would be Coldplay. Nothing to crazy there. Plus when you have gotten such big international recognition, there really isn’t a need to design something intense…is it the most creative, no. But its there logo and it sells. Thus the Rolling Stones. The put their stamp on their album Forty Licks, and there yah go!

    I could probably go on more, but I don’t feel the need to. Avenged Sevenfold is amazing and each individual member is talented.

    Of course not everyone likes Avenged Sevenfold music, but you are the only two I have heard of that would somehow happen upon an Avenged Sevenfold album cover and said bad stuff about it. Seriously, the only way to have found this was to search for “Avenged Sevenfold” as those are the only two tags.

    You two are those types of people who just get on your computer and search for something you haven’t heard much of and then make fun of it. I don’t enjoy The Jonas Brothers but you don’t see me searching up “The Jonas Brothers” and then insulting them.

    A7X is one of the greatest bands to ever pick up ANY instuments they don’t fuking need crazy flashy and insaine artwork to have a GREAT album. I love this album cover in fact it takes me back to the “Waking the Fallen” album and their music has only gotten better and evolved into something that people never thought they were capable of, but they STILL made it frikin amazing. A7X is the best and no one can argue that!!!

    i agree that this album is not eye catching. but hello! have you seen their other artwork? its amazing. you cannot critisize the bands art work when they have artwork like whats on city of evil or access all areas or sound the seven trumpets. have you seen the artwork INSIDE the album? its pretty dammned amazing and u have no right to critisize it if yu havnt done n e artwork for albums yourself.

    Everybody in this comment section is right. Even that psycho chick above(Leslie). Avenged Sevenfold is the shit. I started listening to them last year and I already want all their albums. Even my grandma enjoys songs suchs as Afterlife, Deargod, Wicked End, and so on. The music sells itself and each one of them are more talented than any of you here! I fact, The Rev is my hero. I thinked hes the best damn drummer ever. I kinda think hes better than Lars Ulrich(Mettallica)! I hope I can play drums like him, I can only play a couple songs on drums. Sure thier ALBUM COVER isn’t detailed but I honestly write on SCHOOL ACADEMIC BOOKS with their name and signitures. Avenged Sevenfold rokks forever! It’s a real feel good that everybody sticks up for these guys! But whatever, i’m only a 13 year old.
