The Wall Street Journal wrote about CD sales being down recently, but Business Week has an article that comments on what the WSJ said, saying that it is because DVD sales are up. With so many more movie sales, people’s budget pushed CD sales down. What do you think?

It could be a reason, I think in general people can connect with a wider audience on movies then with music so this could lead to higher sales. I also believe that its easier to pirate music compared to movies so people probably have some excess money from not buying music to spend it on movies. It could go either way really.
