Modest Mouse Reveal Album Details
Modest Mouse have announced track titles for We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, and that the album will drop March 20 on Epic Records. In addition to featuring ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, the album will showcase Shins frontman James Mercer on three tracks, including “We’ve Got Everything,” “Florida,” and “Missed the Boat.” We Were Dead will also include 10 other tunes with the following titles: “March Into the Sea,” “Fire It Up,” “Parting of the Sensory,” “Fly Trapped in a Jar,” “Education,” “Little Motel,” “Steam Engenius,” “Spitting Venom,” “People As Places As People,” and “Invisible.”
Smashing Pumpkins Return to Stage
The Smashing Pumpkins will be the headlining act at Nuremberg, Germany’s Rock am Ring and Rock im Park Festival, held June 2-3. This will make their first appearance onstage since 2000. Although frontman Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin will definitely be returning, no announcements have been made regarding the involvement of the band’s other original members.

The Killers will be heading out on the road again for a 15-date spring tour of the U.S.
