Florida indie rockers Copeland have announced their farewell tour kicking off March 3rd in North Carolina. I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody’s Business, Person L and Deas Vail will be joining them on their final trek.
“Doing a final headline tour was a priority for all of us says guitarist” Bryan Laurenson. “We didn’t want to end our journey without the opportunity to say “thank you” to all of our fans in person. We’re really excited about the lineup, and I think it’s going to be a fun and somewhat emotional experience.”
Copeland will be performing a retrospective set each night including songs from every album, calling back to the days when the songs were originally conceived. Playing each night like it is in fact their last show, the band will be sure to bring everything they’ve got to each performance.

Hey folks! We posted a live recording of our new tune, “Goodness Gracious.” This was performed at Southpaw in Brooklyn, NY on 1/31/08. Recorded by Ken Heitmueller for $15! Hope you all like it, it is very new and will not appear on the upcoming release. While we are on the subject the record is being mixed right now and is looking like it will contain 8 songs. Visit the page soon for more updates on that.
We had the absolute time of out lives these past weeks on tour with the incredible and generous Steel Train. If you haven’t heard their new record “Trampoline” then you need to get on that, its the mad notes. We also discovered a new favorite band being on this tour and they are called Paper Rival. If you miss 90’s alternative like i do then you need to hear their upcoming record, I cannot stop listening to it.
Cat’s in the hat and that is that,
Kenny and the L
