Blink 182 To Release Album This Summer

February 17, 2011 By Haley Dorn Leave a Comment

Blink 182

Travis Barker of Blink 182 has taken it to his personal Twitter account to reveal that the long-awaited Blink 182 album is set to be out this summer.  He tweeted, “For those of you asking GIVE THE DRUMMER SOME is out March 15th and BLINK album is out THIS SUMMER!”

Give The Drummer Some is Barker’s solo record, featuring tracks with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, B.o.B. and more, which was previously set to be released in late 2010.

Earlier this week, Barker talked to MTV implying a summer release date for Blink 182, “I think we’ll turn in our album in June or July, honestly, and I mean the stuff’s awesome. It’s coming close, to the point where these are completed songs and they’re not going to change.  These are album versions.”
