Band In A Bubble: Episode 1

The first episode of Band In A Bubble featuring Cartel can now be streamed on MTV.com. Three more episodes will be launched throughout the next few weeks as Cartel wraps up the recording of their new album in the bubble. To see life webcam feeds of the band in the bubble enter your Dr. Pepper codes over at www.drpepperbubble.com.

    So crazy to see these guys doing this for MTV. Almost four years ago we streamed their first single before they were signed, before anybody knew their name, now this. What does everybody think of this publicity stunt? Do you think it might make or break the band?

    AH… synergy at it’s best my friend. I remember seeing them play at a nearly abandoned dirt mall a couple years back. It’s pretty crazy to see where they are now, I for sure had a hard time sitting through this “Band in a Bubble” show. I suppose only time will tell, I do see this helping their overall career though.
