Tumbledown Premiere “Great Big World” Video

TumbledownTumbledown‘s new video for “Great Big World” is now available for streaming. The song comes from the bands sophomore album, [itunes link=”http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/empty-bottle/id390280369?uo=4″ title=”Tumbledown – Empty Bottle” text=”Empty Bottle”], which is in stores now. Tumbledown’s frontman and guitarist, Mike Herrera (MxPx) describes the second single as, “A song that came from our animated live set and a tribute to the good times at the places we’ve been lucky to travel to.”

Mike Herrera is best known as the front-man of MxPx, but has been writing country music since 1998, and claims some of the industry greats as his influences; such songwriting legends as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Bill Monroe.  Mike Herrera’s Tumbledown captures the punk rock energy of MxPx, while also displaying the soulful experiences of Herrera’s travels along the lonely, open road, coining their own unique pop-punk-a-billy sound.
