Dustin Kensrue Signs To Equal Vision

October 10, 2006 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Dustin Kensrue, front man for Thrice, has signed to Equal Vision Records for his solo release. You can read the press release below.

Known and respected by many as the vocal frontman for Orange Countyâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s, critically acclaimed THRICE, Dustin Kensrueâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s vocal and songwriting ability has taken him down a road he has not traveled in quite some time. Co-produced by Dustin and fellow THRICE band mate, Teppei Teranishi, this highly anticipated release hits stores January 23rd, 2007.

The perpetually modest and self-effacing Dustin Kensrue explains the circumstances that led up to the writing and recording of his debut solo album Please Come Home, as â┚¬Ã…”Before I ever played in a band, I would take my acoustic guitar wherever I went and would sing and play for whoever was around. I wanted these songs at their core to work in that street corner kind of sense, just a guy with his guitar a voice and a story to tell.â┚¬?
