Bryce JacobsonThis week there are only a few things I highly suggest checking out. Go and pick up Jimmy Eat World‘s new album, Chase This Light, this Tuesday for only $10 at Target or Best Buy. Also if you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to watch the Transformers movie which is out on dvd this Tuesday.Adam WeidmanBe sure to give a listen to the new album from Steel Train entitled, Trampoline. I second the Jimmy Eat World recommendation. It’s a great record!

Anti-Matter Anthology Benefit Show

In celebration of the November release of The Anti-Matter Anthology, author Norman Brannon is having a benefit show rather than having an in-store book signing. On November 24th and 25th at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, Snapcase, who broke up in early 2005, will reunite for one night only. The show’s proceeds will go to benefit Callum Robbins, son of Jawbox frontman J. Robbins.

Be In The New Ludo Video

Ludo is putting together their video for “Love Me Dead” and they’re looking for as many fans possible to be in it. To participate in the video all you have to do is go to PureVolume, download the song, and film yourself singing along to it. The deadline is October 17th so submit your video today.

TREOS Video Contest

Purebuttons, LLC has purchased the new Radiohead album, In Rainbows, for $1,000.00 in support of Radiohead’s “silent” effort to revolutionize the music industry.
