Glassjaw Postcard Offers Hope To Fans

July 30, 2010 By Brett Panzer Leave a Comment

Many Glassjaw fans awoke this past week to find an odd postcard in their mailboxes. Members of the band’s forum reported receiving the postcard, which is simply a piece of cardboard with the band’s logo carved into it. Speculators have assumed that this is a sign of a new album on the horizon, a moment they have been waiting for since 2002’s Worship & Tribute. No explanation has yet to have been given as to the true meaning of the card.

Thursday and Envy Plan Split LP/CD

April 2, 2008 By Brett Panzer Leave a Comment

New Jersey emocore legends Thursday and Japan’s Envy have announced that they will be releasing a split CD/LP later this fall. The album will be released through the label Temporary Residence Limited.

Temporary Residence had the following to say.

“There will be no separated CD or LP versions. Both formats will come in one package, and both will contain the same music. We’re not exactly sure how limited it will be yet; maybe 10,000, maybe a billion (probably closer to the former, as we really don’t have space for a billion LPs). In addition, there will be a deluxe, hand-printed edition that will be sold exclusively through our webstore. These will be screenprinted and assembled by hand, and will be colored vinyl, limited to 1000 copies.”
