Sum 41 Stream New Song

A new track called “Scmfuk” from Sum 41‘s forthcoming release is streaming on the bands MySpace page. The song will appear on the band’s sixth studio album, Screaming Bloody Murder, which is due out early next year. Sum 41 was recently forced to cancel a number of dates on the Vans Warped Tour due to a random attack on frontman Deryck Whibley.

In the coming months, Sum 41 will head overseas for a number of dates and will also be headlining the Eastpak tour this fall. Visit Sum41.com for more information.

Anberlin Offer Free Download of New Song

Anberlin has teamed up with Spin.com to give away a brand new song titled “Pray Tell”. Head here to pick up the mp3. The song comes from the bands new album, Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place, due out September 7th.

Jimmy Eat World Release Studio Video, Additional Tour Dates

Jimmy Eat World has released a video shot live in the studio during the recording of their upcoming album, Invented. The video showcases the string session of the album’s first track, “Heart Is Hard To Find.” Check out the video below.

The first single, “My Best Theory” off Jimmy Eat World’s new album can be heard now on the band’s official site, www.jimmyeatworld.com. Invented is also available for pre-order on iTunes now. Fans can also pre-order the deluxe version of the album from iTunes which features 4 extra songs including an acoustic version of “Mixtape,” that will only be available with pre-ordered copies.

The band has also announced two additional US tour dates, Pomona on September 28th and a second New York show on October 13th. Craig Owens Announces New Band Name

Craig Owens has announced the name of his new band, D.R.U.G.S. (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows). The band consists of Craig Owens, guitarist/vocalist Matt Good (ex-From First To Last), guitarist Nick Martin (Cinematic Sunrise, Isles & Glaciers) and drummer Aaron Stern (ex-Matchbook Romance). The band has set up a twitter account that you can follow for updates @DRUGS.

Never Shout Never Announces “The Harmony Tour”

Never Shout Never will hit the road this fall on “The Harmony Tour” with special guests The Maine,  I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business and Carter Hulsey. The tour starts October 19th in Seattle and criss-crosses the U.S. before winding up on November 27th in Chicago. The tour dates can be seen below.

Chiodos Debut New Song, New Album Due In October

Chiodos has debuted, “Those Who Slay Together, Stay Together”, a new song off of their upcoming album, Illuminaudio, due out October 5th.  The new song can be heard on the band’s MySpace here.

Illuminaudio was recorded at The Machine Shop in Weehawken, New Jersey with producer Machine (Lamb Of God, Every Time I Die, Cobra Starship).

“Recording with Machine was incredible,” says keyboardist Bradley Bell. “We didn’t really know what to expect, but right away we could tell that he believed in us as musicians.”
