Ivory Call It Quits

October 6, 2006 By Bryce Jacobson 1 Comment

Ivory, who recently signed to Tooth & Nail Records, has decided to parts ways. You can read what they had to say below.
I regret to inform you that as of last week the members of Ivory have decided to part ways. After the decision by guitarist Daniel Beck to leave the band, other members of the band decided they also wanted to pursue other dreams and aspirations. Once again to hush any rumors that might get started, I do want to make it clear that there have been no personal issues between any of the members in Ivory. We all feel the decisions that have been made are for the best and we all have encouraged each other to do what they need to do. As I stated in the last bulletin: not all people are meant to live their lives on tour. Not many people can endure the task of day to day on the road and many have a hard time being away from home. However, I do want to make it very clear that we first and foremost want to thank all of you who have loved us and helped us along the way. We are very upset and disappointed to have to inform you of this terrible news. We thank you so much for all of the love and support.

On another note, i would like to inform those of you that have followed Ivory that I ,nathaniel swokowski, have continued to write music in the direction and vision that Ivory had intended to grow in. And if you want to check out some new song go to www.myspace.com/nathaniellemarin

thank you
