New Poll, Site Update

December 1, 2006 By Bryce Jacobson 7 Comments

Our end of the year poll’s are going to start showing up on the site throughout the month of December. The first one I just put up is for “Most anticipated album of 2007.” Be sure to cast your vote for that as well as check out our new AJAX comments! Ok, most of you probably don’t know what that means but when you submit a comment you’ll see it pop up on the page right away without a page refresh, cool huh? You can test if out by leaving a comment on this post! Why not let us know what album you voted for and why!

It depends on your browser / connection, but it should be quicker then a page reload. I think it has a 20 second timeout but nobody should be reaching that.

Next year is shaping up to be really good. I personally can’t wait for Jimmy Eat World and Motion City Soundtrack but there will be a lot of great releases throughout the year.

In the new AP, Adkins describes Jimmy’s new album “more along the lines of Bleed America.” This sounds all good to me! Bleed America came out at a changing period for me and I’ll always have a connection to that album. I’m just wondering how long it will take me to get into this album, Futures took me a bit but I eventually fell in love with it.
