I sure hope this new single doesn’t have Tom Delonge singing on it. Not that his songs are bad, it just seems like he insists on hogging the spotlight when Mark Hoppus is clearly the better vocalist. I hope the rest of the album highlight’s Mark a lot more than the last one did. The last one was almost all Tom and that really annoyed me.

“After Midnight” is a mix of Mark and Tom on vocals as well as their new single “Up All Night”. I think the album will mainly be a mix of the two mixing things up. Mark sings on “Heart’s All Gone” which I think wouldn’t really highlight Tom’s voice if he was to sing on it.

We’ll have to wait only a little bit more to hear the rest of the album.

Yeah, Tom sings most of it. Personally I don’t really like Tom’s voice either–nowadays he always sounds like AVA all the time–but I actually like the way he sounds on this song. It just works. It’s like he actually felt emotion when he sang this, lol. I just absolutely love this song.

This is awesome new blink, and in my opinion, a total apology song from tom. look at the lyrics, if you know why they broke up and what brought them back together, then you’ll see what im saying.

Chris, you are so right. That’s what I’d been thinking, but I wasn’t sure. It makes total sense. It makes me like Tom a little bit more =]
