October 8, 2010 By Bryce Jacobson Leave a Comment

Jimmy Eat World‘s latest album, Invented, hit the Billboard Top 200 at #11. The album also ranks #4 Digital, #2 Independent Stores and #1 in Los Angeles. Fueled by “My Best Theory,” the band’s fifth top 5 Modern Rock single, the album sold more than 37,500 in its first week, besting first week album sales from many other well-known artists, including Neil Young, Phil Collins, Bad Religion, Interpol, and Seal to name just a few.

Jimmy Eat World are in the middle of a North American tour (dates below), and will begin their Europe/UK tour starting November 3 in Amsterdam. Reviews of the US shows have been nothing less than stellar with Newark Star Ledger, saying the band was in “great form,” and the Washington Post saying the band sounded “as fiery as ever.”
