Ozzfest 2008 Lineup Announced; Ozzy & Metallica To Headline

The lineup for the 2008 Ozzfest has been announced. The tour won’t be its original across the country round of shows this year though. Instead, the tour will be a one stop show in Dallas, TX on August 9th.
The show will be headlined by Ozzy Osbourne and co-headlined by Metallica.

The full main stage lineup will include performances by Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Hellyeah, Jonathan Davis (Korn), Cavalera Conspiracy, Shadows Fall, Apocalyptica and In This Moment. Also scheduled on the main stage is a special all-star tribute to slain Pantera guitarist “˜Dimebag’ Darrell Abbott. Second stage acts include Sevendust, Devildriver, Kingdom of Sorrow, Soilent Green, Witchcraft and Goatwhore. The Texas (third) stage”””an homage to the “many great metal bands that come from Texas,” says Sharon Osbourne–features The Sword, Drowning Pool and Rigor Mortis.

Motion City Soundtrack will be heading out on a summer tour with The Spill Canvas and Sing It Loud. Tickets go on pre-sale tomorrow at 3:00pm local time for the following summer headline dates with The Spill Canvas * and Sing It Loud. Public on-sale begins Saturday July 17th.

The Spill Canvas EP; Tour Dates

The Spill Canvas will release their digital EP Honestly, I’m Doing Okay tomorrow, May 13th. Included on the EP is “Lay It On Me,” a previously unreleased B-side from the recording of No Really, I’m Fine.

The band will head out on the road for a month long headlining tour of the U.S. starting May 28th in Milwaukee and wrapping up June 28th at the Avalon in Salt Lake City. Joining the band on the road will be Ludo, Steel Train and Sing It Loud and select dates with Relient K, Liam and Me and Matt Nathanson.

A Coastline Ending Sign To Not Alone Records
