Escape The Fate have just released their video for “Issues” which you can check out below. The action-packed video was directed by P.R. Brown who has also worked with the likes of Buckcherry, Prince and Mötley Crüe. “Issues” comes off the band’s upcoming self-titled album. It will be their first for DGC/Interscope, after 2 successful albums for Epitaph Records. Escape The Fate was produced by Don Gilmore (Rob Zombie, Linkin Park) and when talking about the material on the album, bassist Max Green commented, “This record is the cure for the modern day music epidemic, We are wiping the slate clean and re-writing rock music as you know it.” [Read more...]
Hey y’all. We wanted to announce that Alexander T Kent will be leaving Say Anything before this tour. We are still in love with Alex as a man and a bass player and wish nothing but the best to him in all endeavors, and this was as amicable as a split could possibly be. Alex wanted to reach out to you guys with a few words:
“It really has been a wild ride. I remember so well the fairly warm December night 6 years ago at Chain Reaction when Max asked me to play in Say Anything. I’ve learned and grown so much while being in this band and these words will not come close enough to expressing the gratitude to everyone in the band, everyone who worked for and helped the band, and all of the amazing fans who took time to come see and talk to us. Thank you.
All of the guys and I are still best friends and hopefully always will be. There are no hard feelings and there was no altercation. I have just decided to start the next chapter of my life. As George Bluthe once said, “It’s time for me to mozy on, partna.” I’m not sure what I’m going to do besides start brewing beer and going to school. I’ll still play music too – maybe with Brian from Weatherbox. So if you’re interested you can keep a finger on the keys…
I wish the very best to Say Anything and everybody in it. Thank you all so much for all the experiences and memories.
I love everyone,
Alexander T Kent”
The only good news pertaining to this sad development is that our good buddy Kenny Vasoli of Person L and the Starting Line will be playing bass for Say Anything on this tour. We are super excited to share the stage with Kenny, as he is a super super talented, kind and consistently mellow young man.
As Tall As Lions have announced that they are retiring for the foreseeable future. A message from the band can be read below.
After eight years of music, friendship, laughter, adventure, bliss, blood, sweat, tears, and everything else that goes along with it, As Tall As Lions are retiring for the foreseeable future.
