I never thought it was possible, but Riot! is even better than Paramore's first alubm, All We Know Is Falling. Hayley's vocals and amazing and the lyrics on Riot! (especially When It Rains) blow me away.

i agree this album has some bumps...but your review does not adequately address the ups and downs at all. Ive been out on warped, seeing them play 3-4x a week. They are 17, 17, 18, 19, 21 and are more talented, tight and entertaining than almost every other band on the tour.
the record is a great display of that, and it's produced pretty well too.

about their member changes...josh and hayley write the music. taylor is an original member and so is jeremy. if anything, they're back closer to the original state than ever before. it's not hard to teach someone ryhthm parts anyway so that's irrelevant to an album review.

expected a little more from the dude who's excitement for paramore got me into the band.

I actually really dig this album. I know their first one came in strong and they had to step it up to beat it but overall its just a good album to put in.
